Event Planning

I’ve had the (unfortunate?) pleasure of planning many events – of all kinds of sizes – over the years. Through helping colleagues, companies, and nonprofits, I’ve noticed there’s quite a few basic (and not so basic) things many forget, or don’t even know, to do when planning their event. Enough conversations and re-typed out tips and tricks later, I figured it was time to create a small section here on my personal blog. My goal is to slowly grow this area as things come up so I can share that knowledge – so here we go!

Event Planning

There’s a lot that can go into planning an event whether it’s just going to a conference to represent a product or company; setting up a booth at a con; planning a party (or even a wedding!); or even planning a whole convention or conference. In this section I hope to detail some of the tips, tricks, and resources I’ve learned when planning various sizes and types of events.
